I bought this camera case from Amazon seller Photoworld in July 2008 for $3.79 with free shipping. I couldn't be more pleased with the item. The LCD screen on the camera is exposed and requires some kind of protection. I have been careless with prior cameras; I toss my camera in my purse or diaper bag or in the back of the stroller -- and I pay the price for it with nicks, scratches, or cracks on the camera body. Given that my Nikon Coolpix is brand new I knew I needed a case. I scoured many stores in New York City for an inexpensive case (less than $25) but came up empty handed. I even went to a street fair to buy a cheap $5 cell phone or MP3 player case as a alternative. A few of them fit but nothing covered the camera from all sides. So when this deal came along, I was thrilled. Not only was it cheap, but also it's leather (and a soft expensive looking leather too). Since it's specifically made for the S series, it fits the camera perfectly. It's true that the case won't accommodate anything else aside from the camera, but at this price I'm willing to carry the necessary accessories in my purse or other bag. According to my browsing, this case would have cost at least $20 elsewhere. Definitely worth it.
