I wanted a camera that took good, clear pictures and I know you don't have to spend a ton of money. I read a couple of reviews on cameras and Canon seemed to be a good bet. I went to Best Buy and was pretty much talked into this camera telling me it was just as good if not better than the more expensive Canon I was looking at. Well the pictures are so grainy and not in focus... after printing some of them out, I won't print the rest its a waste of my money. Since then I've found more reviews complaining about the same thing... don't buy, you'll be sorry. Buy the time I realized it wasn't me my 2 weeks to return it had pasted :(Digital camera Review: Awesome Camera!

I wanted a new camera to replace my Easy Share 6.1 MP camera, and thought I couldnt go wrong with Nikon. I wanted a new camera with at least 10 MP, and lots of features for our annual fund raiser event of pet pictures with Santa. I wanted to make sure the pictures were really clear, like the ones my friend took with her Canon last year. I now know that if I wanted pictures that looked the the ones taken with a Canon, that is what I should have bought.
The pictures yesterday were totally unuseable. They came out too dark, too yellow, or too light and yellow, without any adjustment, only using auto mode. I am going back to my Easy Share with 6.1 MP today, because at least the colors are true.
I wish I had read all of these negetive reviews before my purchase.

This is the worst camera i have ever bought! I felt like i was taking care of a new born baby! It breaks with the slightest TOUCH of the screen. Even with a carrying case this piece of junk breaks somehow in the case. Im going to invest in a canon or something not made to sit on a desk. I would not recommend this camera to anyone who actually gets out of the house. I went through 3 after the third return i just got a Cannon. I am sorely disappointed with my new Coolpix. I have a very old one with which I was quite happy, but I wanted to upgrade to a much smaller, higher MP camera. This camera seemed like a great deal for a 10MP slim camera with VR. The problem is that white walls & Caucasian people look yellow or orange with this camera. I haven't yet printed any photos or looked at any on the computer, but on the camera, most photos look awful. I will update y'all once I have printed a few of the photos & see if it is simply a bad camera LCD, or if the photos are really that awful. If it is simply the camera LCD, well, I can live with that. If the photos are as awful as they look on the camera LCD, then I will be returning the camera to Amazon ASAP.
