This camera is great! We bought it for a Christmas present for ourselves and have used it on family pictures, outdoor pictures and we have even taken pictures from inside the car through the windshield. I purchased the S550 a few weeks ago and so far, I like it very much. It is small, fits in your pocket and takes great photo's. The extra 2X optical zoom, 5X total, (most camera's of this size are 3X), really makes a difference. It has a variety of modes for different shooting and lighting conditions. For the price, it's a great value.
