Digital camera reviews of Nikon D90 12.3MP DX-Format CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 18-105 mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S VR DX Nikkor Zoom LensDigital camera Review: A step further Summary: 5 Stars
I used to have a Sony Alpha -- it was my first DSLR camera -- which was ok as an initial step in getting to know the basic aspects of photography. With the D90 for one month I can see how the equipment has more to offer, and the results much better than I expected.
If you are thinking of buying one, go ahead, it's worth it.

Digital camera Review: AMAZING CAMERA Summary: 5 Stars
Well this is my 1st DSLR so I don't have much to compare to, but what a great camera! Just make sure you buy a book or DVD on the D90 camera and DSLR's, I did and watched them about 10 times. Once I got a grasp on how this machine works I began to feel comfortable taking pictures without my manual in hand, and let me say that we have been able to get some incredible pictures. I love the kit lense, no issues with it. I also bought a 55 mm lense, great for close up pics with a low apeture. I bought the Nikon 1.8f, it was only around $100, but highly recommended. You will love this camera, but make sure you grab a DVD and book in addition to the user manual!!
Digital camera Review: AVOID NIKON OR YOU WILL BE SORRY Summary: 1 Stars
After owning this camera a little over a year I got an "ERR" message. NOTHING worked to fix it, the camera was dead. This is a common problem on all the Nikon DSLRs and Nikon is aware but doesn't care. I called customer service and talked to a woman that spoke poor English. The bottom line is that after 1 year they won't fix anything for free, they won't even tell you how much the repair will be -- you have to send the camera in and they will then email you a price to fix it. It might be more expensive than the camera! They won't give you any averages, estimates, etc. Just send it in and if you've owned the camera 366 days, then you are paying full price for the repair (and 2-way shipping) even though it is a software error that is 100% Nikon's fault. What kind of customer service is this? A $1000 camera should not break when it is just a few years old! This was the worst experience I have ever had and I will never buy ANYTHING from Nikon again.
Digital camera Review: Absolutely great camera! Summary: 5 Stars
Absolutely Great camera. This is THAT simple. No need to say anything else!
I con: video quality is extremely poor, my iPhone 4 shoots many times better quality video in fact.
But I don't care, as I don't need this option in DSLR Camera. So I still give 5 Stars!
