Digital camera reviews of Nikon EH-5 AC Adapter for D40, D50, D70, D70s, and D100Digital camera Review: If you have a D50, D70, D70s or D100, you need this. Summary: 5 Stars
This AC Adapter/charger is the perfect compliment to the superb Nikon line of D cameras. The D50, D70, D70s and D100 have excellent power-consumption, but sometimes, having to change-out batteries can be a hassle, and sometimes, you need complete assurance for very long exposures. That is where this device comes in handy. Very handy, at that. As long as your camera is plugged up with this, it has limitless power... so you can continue those super long BULB shots or use it in compliance with an ever-repeating slideshow on your television screen (when connected with a separately-sold A/V cable that comes with your camera). The EH-5 AC Adapter is the perfect acces for those of you who use your camera for long periods of time, and want an easier way to charge the battery, without having to remove the battery from the machine. Excellent. 5/5 Stars.
Digital camera Review: It's a Nikon Summary: 5 Stars
Since the camera dose not come with an AC power supply,
this is a must have accessory, not a cheap wall wart.
Digital camera Review: Nikon AC digital adapter cable Summary: 5 Stars
The cable works great, albeit somewhat expensive for what it is. The description doesn't indicate it works with the new D80 camera, but it does. The description also indicates that the wall to adapter cable is needed (comes with camera) but the adapter package also included this cable as a bonus! I only needed this adapter since I plan to copy a bunch of slides to my computer and didn't want to run down the battery in the camera. The adapter works, nothing more to rate.
Digital camera Review: Not very readly available in stores locally Summary: 5 Stars
Satisfied, delivery was prompt. No issues at all.
Digital camera Review: Pricey power cable Summary: 1 Stars
Seems a huge amount of money for what is little more than a power cable and basic transformer. This came free with my point-and-shoot Canon G5. Why not with a more expensive DSLR?
