Needed a backup battery for my niece's wedding shoot and didn't for a moment consider anything other than Nikon. Too big a moment to take chances with an inferior product. Shot the entire day, two cameras (Nikon D60 and Nikon D5000)fresh Nikon batteries in each, shot 2,100 pictures - never had to change the batteries in either camera. I use D40x with 18-200 and 70-200 f/2.8 lenses, the battery doesn't last long and I can't shoot anymore when there is only one bar on the battery. The camera shooter is automatically released. I hope this battery lasts longer.Digital camera Review: Excellent Buy

I purchased this as a backup for my nikon D60. Ironically, I have not had to use it as a backup, I simply swap it out at the end of the day. I recently took over 900 photos in one setting with the same battery and the indicator showed that it was still FULL!
You CANNOT go wrong with this battery.
