Digital camera reviews of Nikon EN-EL9 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery for Nikon D40 and D40x Digital SLR CamerasDigital camera Review: Great Addition Summary: 4 Stars
Nikon D60 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR and 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor Lens with 2 Nikon School DVDs
This battery functions the same as the OEM battery. I purchased it rather than a knock off since I really didnt want to take a chance and ruin my expensive new camera.
I get over 500 shots with the flash on a full charge.
4 stars because I wish it was a little less expensive!
Digital camera Review: Great addition to my Nikon setup. Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this as a backup for my primary and found out that it charges a bit quicker than the one that came with the camera and the charge last about the same. So with this battery and the original I can photograph just about continually all day and hope I have enough disk to handle all the shots. Would recommend this one to any serious photographer.
Digital camera Review: Great battery! Summary: 5 Stars
Great battery...charges quickly and lasts for an extremely long time even when used for lengthy playback and editing. Also works for the D60 which is the camera I own.
Digital camera Review: Highly Recommend An Extra Battery Summary: 5 Stars
I don't really care who makes it. But you do have to have an extra. Sure, you can charge your lone battery after each use, but have you ever been out on a Pirate Ship Cruise in the middle of the Atlantic and your camera battery dies? ARRRRGh. It's terrible. So always carry a spare. Have a Nikon D-SLR camera with which this battery is compatible? Then purchase one of these! I have not had a problem with it at all. I gave it one star in the picture quality category because - seriously? If picture quality was affected at all by the battery, life would be terrible.
Digital camera Review: It does the job. Summary: 5 Stars
It does as advertised (so refreshing in this day and age). I'll probably buy another one to squirrel away just in case. I couldn't comment (with stars) on the d60 because I use the d5000.
