I love the Nikon D60 and this battery holds a charge through a full day of shooting in the field. I bought it as a backup and rarely have to go deep for the second battery until I've hit at least 250 photos. It holds the charge nicely, too. If you need a battery for your Nikon, get this one.

It's the standard replacement battery for the Nikon D40 and D40x. Works just as designed. I will say that if you have a Nikon D40/x you should not have to worry about swapping batteries. I've been able to get a full day of shooting done on a single battery, although I do prefer the peace of mind of having a spare.Digital camera Review: It's electrifying!

Eh, what to say, it's a battery. I didn't feel comfortable with the 3rd party batteries so I sprung for the OEM one and it works fine. I have a D60.

This battery is fabulous. When I got my Nikon D60 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens 11 months ago I bought an extra EN-EL9 battery, just in case. That was probably due to other rechargeables for other types of products not living up to expectations (or product boasts). In under a year I have clicked the shutter upwards of 13 thousand times. My EN-EL9 typically delivers 800 shots per charge. As a note, I still carry my extra battery with me as I never know just how many shots I will take when I leave the house. I am totally delighted with this Nikon battery and recommend it to any and all.Digital camera Review: Long lasting battery.

I purchased this battery for a Nikon D40x camera I had purchased for Christmas 08. Coming from a Kodak p850, I had assumed that the rechargeable battery life's for camera's would be about the same, as the Kodak would go through 3 battery's in 600+ shots.
The Nikon battery that came with the D40x lasted nearly 650+ shots by itself. This was way better than I had hoped for.
These original Nikon battery's charge fairly fast as well.
With the 2 original Nikon battery's, I had zero downtime.
After reading reviews about the 3rd party battery's for this camera, I am glad to have made a smart choice and purchased this original Nikon battery.
Kudos to Amazon.com as well. Ordered the battery on Dec. 18, and it arrived on Dec. 23, using the standard FREE shipping.
I thought the price ($33) was o.k. as well, as I did not mind paying for a quality product that wouldn't let me down.
