The ONLY reason that I was looking up this Nikon charger online is that I need to buy an AC cord to replace the one that I've been missing for months. Normally, I leave the cord attached to the charger, but I take them apart to pack for traveling, and somewhere along the line they got separated. I have a smaller-size digital Canon (with a prong adapter) that I use more frequently, so I haven't been desperate to find my Nikon cord, and I figured it would have turned up by now. I have other detachable ac cords from various electronics, but of course, not-a-one-of-'em is 120v input. I bought mine from BIGTECHSALE and the item I received was a cheap knockoff....
This is not the first time these chargers have been the knockoff versions from Amazon. I also ordered a D90 Battery Charger a while back and it TOO was a knockoff.
These have a tendency to overheat and could potentially be extremely dangerous.
I would just order directly from Nikon; pay retail price, and have peace of mind.

This charger is smaller than the one that originally came with my D40, which I lost. I've only used it for one charge so far, but it seems to take about the same amount of time to charge the battery and the charge is holding quite well.
