As a D70 owner, I found this little device invaluable and would recommend it to anyone. The range is good and works as advertised. It's a bargain that is far more useful than you'd first imagine (camera shake, anyone?)

This is a great accessory for those slow shutter shots. I use it with my D70 on a tripod for bird and other wild life shots and it functions very well. Like another reviewer had commented that you do have to aim it at the camera IR receiver for it to pick up a signal, but it's not that much of a problem. I would recommend this unit if you are serious about photography, and for the price it's definitely worth having one in your bag.Digital camera Review: A must have product!

The remote for I use for my D7000 is all that is advertised. Have not tested its range yet. So far just at 10 feet. Even had a battery installed. Must have this when using a tripod to prevent camera shake at slow shutter speeds.
