Works everywhere in the house. I had two rooms where jacks were not installed by the builder. I purchased this unit (sender and receiver) to see if it would actually work. It worked better than expected. I purchased a second receiver about month later. It is simple to set up and works fairly well with an occasional flutter when someone moves (too close) in front of it. It really paid off during the Super Bowl when I moved a second TV into the kithcen area. I currently have Direct TV and have no need for a second receiver. They charge $5.99 per month plus tax and all of the other hidden fees for a second receiver. If I get more than a year or two out of it, then I will be ahead of the game. I may have revied this before under C. Bradley, however, I juse wanted everyone to know that I bought this device so that I could watch Direct TV from more than one location in the house. Particularly, I was finding myself watching everything in the Living Room, and not getting anything done. So, I thought I'd give this a try. It does exactly what I wanted, that is, it allows me to watch and listen to what's on in the Living Room from my office while I'm doing other stuff. I didn't think that the remote would work that well, but it works perfectly. It is just like it works on the main unit.
Setup took about 5 minutes, and it worked perfectly the first time. Sometimes if you walk in front of the unit you get a little static, but that is not a problem because if I'm walking in front of it, I'm not actually watching it.

Unit arrived and performed as advertised. Very quick and easy set-up. TV picture and sound are very crisp and clear.Excellent range. Great for applications where running wire is not feasible or when location flexibilty is desired. Highly recommend.
