Digital camera reviews of Nyrius SW100 Digital Audio Optical Toslink 3 Input Selector Switch Compatible with Fiber Optic Cables, HDTV, Blu-ray DVD player, PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS, XBOX360, PS3Digital camera Review: Does exactly what it says it does-perfect performence Summary: 5 Stars
This switch was a godsend. It works perfectly, does exactly what it is supposed to-with absolutely no signal loss. It fulfilled my needs to the point where I'm considereinng getting another for my other A/V system. I'm currently using this one to switch signals between my receiver, PS3, and XBOX360 with the out going to my Turtle Beach 5.1 headphones. The signal, no matter what it is hooked up to, or what length toslink I seem to use, is impeccable-no loss whatsoever. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and with everything going matte black or silver nowadays, it is completely unobtrusive as well.
Digital camera Review: Does just as it says Summary: 5 Stars
i bought this product to create extra connections for my optical port. It was easy to set up and works perfectly. You need to remember to get an extra optical cord to attach the switch to your receiver. Then you need additional cords for each device you attach to the switch.
Digital camera Review: Does not work Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased this item because of the good reviews it has received. It only works with my cable box. It doesn't work with either of the xbox platforms.
Digital camera Review: Does not work Summary: 1 Stars
computer 1 to DAC/pre-amp = working properly
computer 2 to DAC/pre-amp = working properly
computer 1 to switch to DAC/pre-amp = does not work
computer 2 to switch to DAC/pre-amp = does not work
even though the light goes through, so the pre-amp is receiving some kind of optical data, it's not read and not decoded.
returning this device, going to get a TOSLINK to COAXIAL SPDIF converter and use the COAXIAL input on my DAC/pre-amp instead.
Digital camera Review: Does what it says Summary: 5 Stars
Its a three way selector for audio optical lines. It does exactly what it says with basically no set up and its very easy to use. One important thing to remember is that although it is a three way selector you will need four toslink cables because there are three inputs and one output.
