I have an EVGA 780i motherboard that claims it will support DDR2 at 1200Mbps (Mega bits per second). MHz, while generally used to describe DDR2, is often used incorrectly. A 1200Mbps DDR2 interface includes a 600MHz clock. Anyway, the motherboard claims it will support DDR2 running up to 1200Mbps and OCZ claims the memory will run up to 1066Mbps.
I have tried every feasible latency/FSB configuration and the only way to keep the system stable is to back down the memory data rate to 800Mbps and this is a system where the CPU is not over clocked.
However, running at 800Mbps with the latency set to 5-5-5-15, the system has been very stable for the past six weeks. Since I do not know for certain if it is the memory or the motherboard that is the limiting factor, I gave the memory 3 stars.

I installed this RAM and ran several benchmarks and finally decided that with my setup 900mhz was the sweet spot. It would run and benchmark just fine at 1066 but the bandwidth results recorded by Everest actually showed 900mhz having the most bandwidth at the 5-5-5-18 setting. I was pretty happy with it until I fired up my machine 3 days later and one stick had already gone bad. I checked it using vista memory checker in two separate machines. Thank goodness for Amazon customer service - they are shipping me out a new set. Hopefully this isn't a common problem as I already ordered a second set to bump my system up to 8GB. Junk-- arived with 1 module dead, filled out all thier warranty RMA
info and spent 5.00 to send back the dead module. they write back they want both back. So I need to spend another 5.00 to return??????
Bull I told them to return to old module and I threw it in the garbage.
Dont buy OCZ !!!!!!!
