This product just did not work for me at all. The trackball itself was really cheap and fell apart as I was trying to put it in. Then I tried to just put my old trackball in and use the ring (which was the part that had been originally broken on my phone), and it just will NOT click into place on my phone. I watched a couple things on you tube of how to do it and no luck whatsoever. I guess I will try ordering from a different company. :(Digital camera Review: Cheap and Efficent trackball solution

I was having constant problems with my Blackberry Trackball, It would get stuck and need cleaning every few hours.
Purchasing this replacement trackball was a quick and easy solution. The product arrived as described and slot right into my pearl 8120.Buying it off Amazon is so much better than paying $16 at a store.

Well, I was hoping to get a new trackball for my 8100 Blackberry Pearl. The listing stated that this trackball would fit. The trackball arrived quickly (thank you), unfortunately it did not work well with my Pearl. The trackball fit somewhat, but didn't roll properly and I could not push it in to click at all (i.e., enter). I wrote to the seller saying that I possibly received the wrong size and for them to advise me. They promptly issued a refund.
I am thankful for the quick refund however am kind of sad they could not provide me with a trackball that fits. I would have preferred an exchange.

I bought this item from "Digital Media Source" and it arrived on time, however it doesn't fit my Curve 8330. The ball fits by itself but the ring doesn't fully go in over it and falls off. I tried the old ring over this trackball but it does not fit either.
