I love the PAL to NTSC converter and the ability, after a little extra online effort, to watch my foreign language, non-region 1, dvd's. I'm not using HDMI so I can't comment on those options. Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" SACD sounds terrific using the multi-channel function. OPPO tech support was very helpful when I was trying to enable the multi-channel function (they even looked through my Onkyo receivers owner's manual that I emailed them) but to no avail. It turned out to be an Onkyo problem - something that wasn't fully covered in the original Onkyo owner's manual (a 2-step process, but they only listed step 1...). Onkyo tech support was clueless. Luckily I found the two-step process in an online downloadable owner's manual for upgraded receivers at [...]. All in all, I'm very happy with my OPPO.
