I hooked this one up in 20 seconds and BAM! worked like a charm, perfectly! i havent had any trouble with this switcher whatsoever. the auto switching works really well too and is nice not to have to use the remote! I ordered the OPPO HDMI switch box and 2 Belkin HDMI Cables all for $124 and received free shipping from Amazon. I really couldn't be happier with the switch box it was a breeze to install and the picture quality is great! I'm using it with my Dish Network VIP722DVR, Xbox 360 with my Samsung 1080i LCD TV which only had one HDMI connection before the OPPO swticher arrived. This is a very solid piece of video hardware no frills but looks nice and works great! It's about the size of a VCR tape if you were wondering. Just remember it does not come with a HDMI cable. I was kinda worried about loosing picture quality using a switch box but I see no loss at all it looks great! I checked the local stores looking for a switcher in most cases they were more money. So do yourself a favor if you need more HDMI inputs on your TV and get yourself an OPPO switcher you won't be sorry!Digital camera Review: Comcast Dvr Box Compatible

im writing this review mainly because i bought 3 other hdmi switches from amazon before finally finding this one that works with my comcast dvr box.
It seems like comcast is really picky about whats compatible with there motorola dvr box. most switches will not give you a picture or give you a picture thats not hd or give you a nice picture and no audio.. it gets aggriavting i had to use the trial and error process and luckily amazon.com's return policy was great!
If you have a comcast dvr box and your using hdmi cables and want a nice picture and nice sound this is the hdmi switch your looking for it works great with my ps3 and comcast dvr service!! dont waste your time with the others as i did.

This HDMI switch has worked pretty well for me. I have my PlayStation 3 hooked to the first port and my satellite TV to the third port (nothing hooked to the second port). The switch will automatically detect whether the PS3 is on or off and will switch accordingly. Additionally, using the remote control works fine. I have noticed a couple of issues with it. First, the audio stream seems to switch instantly, but the picture stream is switched 6 seconds later. For example, say I want to switch from my PS3 to my satellite TV. When I hit the blue "cycle" button on the switch's remote control, the audio for the satellite TV starts to immediately stream, but the TV's screen turns black for 6 seconds before the picture pops up. The same thing happens going from satellite TV to my PS3. This is a little annoying for people who want immediate gratification.
The second thing I noticed is that a "green snow" screen will sometimes pop up when either automatically or manually switching between the ports. The "green snow" view can be remedied by manually switching the port with the remote control (although, I suppose an automatic switch would work, too). The "green snow" happens very infrequently. These are really my only complaints, which are pretty minor. I have no way of knowing whether picture quality is degraded by the product, but it doesn't appear to do so.
