Digital camera Review: Does what it's supposed to do

I bought this switch because my HD tv has only one HDMI input. I have my DVD-R, HD cable box, and Blu Ray player connected to it.
The video quality is exceptional. But,don't use cheap cables with this unit. You would be cheating yourself out of the absolute best picture quality.
The audio is very good as well, but I noticed that the unit doesn't always hand-off the audio feed properly. I would have to hit the refresh button on the remote (which is as thin as 2 credit cards put together...nice!), in order to get the sound to catch up to the video. This is minor. It's not a pain at all to do.
I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this product to hook up my DVR, PS3 and HDMI-powered DVD player to my Pioneer plasma, which has a single HDMI input. It actually does the job, however, my DVR experienced diminished significantly. There is a major delay with sound when I change TV channels. Also, whenever I record something on my DVR, the Oppo Switch has to be switched to the DVR mode. Otherwise, I get no sound.Digital camera Review: Easy install; clear picture.

I bought a Samsung BDP1600 Blu-Ray player from Amazon and one of the pleasant surprises was how well that unit up-converts non-HD signals. As I have added other media sources (HD cable, Apple TV, Netflix, etc) I have run out of HDMI terminals on my TV. I looked at a lot of switches, but often the feedback from prior users cited degraded or erratic signal quality.... I sure didn't want to lose the upgrade I'd gotten with the Samsung Blu-Ray. The feedback for the OPPO seemed to be the best, and I've heard good things about their other gear so I took the plunge. I also bought new v.1.3/Cat 2 HDMI cables from Amazon; very good value. I have had this unit installed for about a month and tested it vs. a direct connection to the back of the TV and I can't see a difference..... which makes me happy. Set-up was quick and easy and the remote works well.... but boy is it easy to lose in the sofa.Digital camera Review: Excellent Product

I have a HDTV that has only one HDMI input. Having Comcast HD Video Convertor and I just purchased a Blu-Ray DVD player. This accessory does an excellent job of switching and maintaining the video and Audio quality that is associated with Blu-Ray and with the Comcast HD Convertor.Digital camera Review: Excellent Switch

I was an early buyer of HDTV so my unit had only one HDMI input. I wanted to add a BluRay DVD but did not want to lose my TV connection. This switch does the trick, no fuss, and picture quality is excellent. As other reviewers mentioned, hook up your cablebox in the #3 position and the unit will automatically switch priority to #1 or #2 when that device is powered on.
