Digital camera Review: Great TV for a Great Price
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this TV a couple months ago, and I have been very pleased with its performance since I've had it. This TV is VERY configurable and has a good amount of inputs/outputs. It would have been nice if they included an output for a subwoofer. The ability to update the firmware for it is great too, although the installation of the drivers was a little bit of a pain, and I'm an IT manager so it may be more of a pain for others. I did have a problem with the TV in the first month. When I would come home from work and turn the set on after being off for several hours, the TV would turn on and there would be no image but there was sound, I would turn off the set and then turn it back on and it was fine. Luckily the latest firmware update solved the problem and it's been running like a champ ever since.

I have this TV hooked up to my laptop, PlayStation 2 and DVR and it looks great! I'm still watching TV standard definition, but most of the channels appear crisp and clear. This is one of the best electronic purcases I have made.

Digital camera Review: Great TV for the Price
Summary: 5 Stars

Pros: Great TV for the Price, probably the best in it's price range.

Cons: Only one component input, undetachable speakers.

Purchased this TV after one retailer having it for a super low price online. After doing some research & was pleasantly surprised. The Picture Quality is great. I have Comcast HDTV box hooked up via HDMI, Computer connected via VGA, and Xbox 360 connected via component.

The HDTV picture is great, picture quality is better than most tv's in this price range. Black levels can't compare to plasma but it's probably the best I've seen from an LCD thus far. Standard definition TV is ok, nothing to write home about but it's still better than most tv's in this price range. For HDTV via HDMI i give it 9/10. For Standard via HDMI i give 7/10.

Computer via VGA looks great after tweaking (setting resolution to 1360x768 and then enabling 1:1 mode on the TV) to use for just general computer use. For watching Xvid/Divx/WMV/etc content it looks great as well (I switch to aspect mode on the TV, and full screen theatre mode on the video card control panel). After tweaking with the FFDShow Image Settings (Blur & NR, Sharpen, Noise, and Resize/aspect ratio) it looks superb. Hell, some of the Xvid HD content can be mistakened for the actual HDTV broadcast. Of course, transport stream files come out the best but the picture quality is great. Playing games in widescreen mode is very clear, and there's no ghosting at all. General Computer Use I give it a 8/10. For watching videos on the computer I give it a 10/10. For playing video games on the computer i give it a 9/10.

Xbox360 via component is great. Games look more detailed compared to my Samsung DLP. Just need the HD-DVD player to see how the PQ is in terms of HD-DVD but DVD playback looks good. I don't think the Xbox360 can upscale over component so that's a bummer but standard DVD is good. I give it a 8/10.

The sound quality is good, I'm not audiophile but this TV fits my needs. Sound gets 8/10.

Overall I give the TV a 9/10. Biggest problem is that it only has one component input. I also don't like how you can't detach the speakers but overall in terms of picture quality this TV is very good, and great after you calibrate/tweak it. I Highly recommend this TV.

Digital camera Review: Great TV with one big problem
Summary: 4 Stars

Great TV. Great Price. Great Picture Quality. BUT....if you have comcast NO codes work so the comcast remote will be compatible with the set. So every time you want to turn the TV off, on, or change the source (for DVD's and stuff) you have to get out the other remote

Digital camera Review: Great hd resolutions, clear large image once you get everything tuned and working
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased this 32 inch hd-ready lcd to replace my 20 inch standard tv. I can admit that at first it was a hasle to set, which I had to do on my own bcause technical support was no help at all. Once I got my video to show on the tv which just basically required a reset of both the tv and my xbox 360 the picture was jaw dropping, and this is no exaduration folks. First off the tv is big, rather wide I mean so its a good thing the speakers are underneath the tv because this tv was almost to wide for my tv stand. The problem I had was my 360 was used to playing on compossite rather through component which is in hd in either 720p or 1080i, which by the way this tv supports both. Any way I set my 360 to hd mode hook up the component cables cut on the xbox 360 and my tv, but nothing happens... Noooooo, was my first response because I'm thinking I have a broken tv, I call tachnical support which the guy was a prick, he tells me take the green component cable and put it in the yellow jack where compossite is suppose to be, I do it I get picture but its all jacked up he tells me my tv is broke I need to get it replaced, I start yelling and screaming and he hung up on me, which was good for me because my tv was not and is not broken. My xbox 360 just wasnt sending the signal through component because it was still sending the single via compossite. So I test my compossite connection on the same tv and it worked. I preceided to shut everything off reconnect my wires through component turned the tv and 360 on and problem solved. Now that everything is up and running oh my god this is an awesome tv, I must have hug my mom a thousand times today for getting it for me.I f you're a 360 owner do yourself a huge favor and get yourself this tv its great, you can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080i either. I can tell you that I played 11 different games including gears of war online at 1080i, 8ms response time no motion blurr at all, I played at 720p didn't notice any difference so I switched back to 1080i. By the way this is a real testimony of this tv not some paid off testimony, my xbox gamer tag s
MAS 86. Catch you online 360 fans, I'd throw my old tv off the roof but I dont wanna go to jail, I'm too vusy playing my 360 games at 1080i. 1 more thing though if and when you get this tv set your sharpness all the way up,it makes every thing much clearer and crisper...

Digital camera Review: Great monitor for the price...
Summary: 5 Stars

Got monitor a few days ago and have hooked up comcast cable(via composite,) a mac(via hdmi-dvi cable), and a progressive scan dvd player(via component). Everything looks amazing cept for standard def tv but that is not the lcd's fault. The only problem I have at all with the lcd is that sometimes you have to hit the power button twice for it to turn on or turn off. I am not sure if this is the tv or the remote, other than that I highly recommend it for its picture clarity at this price point.
