Digital camera reviews of Olevia 337H 37-Inch LCD HD Ready MonitorDigital camera Review: Great while it works Summary: 2 Stars
We bough this tv 1 year ago. it broke down last week we had two weeks on the warrenty so i called them and what a joke. they ask me to fax the reciept which i did they informed me that they will let me know in two days where to send the unit a week later no e-mail. called them with an avergae waiting time 45-60 minute, Been transfered 3-4 times to tell me that they have not got the fax and have to fax it again. Now it has been 18 days waiting for the e-mail nothing yet(i hope american express will do the replacemnet for me soon)Olevia they have the most deplorable customer service. thankfully this one broke within the warranty period of the first year (which should tell you something right there).
It is such a headache getting any warranty service from Olevia that it is almost worth buying a new set from someone else (go to COSTCO).or buy extended warrenty
Digital camera Review: Huge Bang for the Buck Summary: 5 Stars
Found this sweet boy for $619 NEW w/free shipping and am I glad I jumped on it.
Superb picture...rich blacks, sharp as a tack and super contrast. Absolutely no negatives on this picture quality.
And, it has some features I've seen no where else, such as the ability to change the backlighting to suit bright, medium and dark rooms at the touch of a button.
Also, user access to the tweaking the red, blue and green drives so that you can dial in perfect color and hue using test DVD's such as AVIA.
Look up the word "value" in the dictionary, and you'll find a picture of this 37" monitor!

Digital camera Review: Low price made me put off waiting. Summary: 4 Stars
I planned on waiting several more months before buying an HDTV to see if prices came down further. This was so cheap and the reviews are good so I bought it last month. I don't have HDTV, but DVDs look great with my player set to 720p. The Incredibles in particular looks spectacular and some of the flaws in older DVDs is revealed vs. my old 32" CRT. I also used Video Essentials to adjust the picture and it helped a lot. Regular TV via cable looked bad until I set the noise reduction setting high. It's not as beautiful as a friends Plasma, but it's also 1/3 the price. I have also learned that right now, there's not a big advantage to 1080p unless you have HDDVD or blue ray and it will be a while until one of them wins and players become cheaper. The only downsides are the 1HDMI connector which doesn't matter to me yet, and that there's no remote code to make other remotes work with it. I emailed tech support with a couple questions about proper settings. They responded quickly but the answers weren't great. Finally, it's thicker than some other LCDs and Plasmas, but it's 600 bucks so I can live with it!
update 12-07. have ownded for 9 months now and still love it. Looks amazing with HD content, including blu-ray. Solved the 1HDMI port issue with a cheap 3 port switcher on amazon. I really recommend this TV!
Digital camera Review: No customer service, and remote control is defective Summary: 2 Stars
I selected this model primarily because of its price. Unfortunately, the remote control is defective. It will turn the volume down, but not up, and won't turn the television on or off. I contacted Olevia to request warranty service using their website, but two weeks later have received no response. I called the number listed on the website, but was disconnected after being placed on hold for about 10 minutes. The television itself is really more of a monitor. It didn't have enough connectors for me to connect both a cable box and a DVD player. I had to buy a device that would allow me two switch between the two.
Digital camera Review: Nothing but good things to say about this monitor Summary: 5 Stars
It is easy to set up, well worth the money. If they had a bigger size, we would buy it. Excellent color, wonderful sound. If you are able to take advantage of HDMI, picture is unbelievable.
