I just purchased this card today with a new digital camera I bought (A Fujifilm F470 for the record (I LOOOOVE it)). Anyhow, the write time from camera to card seems to be relativley normal (those things can only get so fast....then it's pointless). However, I have noticed that the reading time from card to computer is perhaps a little slower than that of SD cards, but it's nothing to bad. I'm not really sure what the complaints are...like another reviewer said, I'm satisfied enought the times. No other complaints!Digital camera Review: Holds Lots of Pictures...but

This card is a nice buy in my opinion because it holds about 1,000 pictures on it. The only drawback is the time it takes to record the picture taken until the time you are ready to take the next shot. Much slower than the smaller cards. So, as long as your not speed shooting pictures, this card is fine.Digital camera Review: Incredibly slow

The card is about 5-7times slower than my older 16MB & 128MB cards. My camera is Olympus C765 and all the cards are also made by Olympus. I called their customer support and they told me it is probably (??) normal because the card is large. Why doesn't the card have a large warning "Avoid unless you live with slow moving objects"?Digital camera Review: Information but not a review

I did some homework on the Olympus site and discovered that several models of Olympus cameras require a "firmware upgrade" in order to use either the 512mb or 1gm memory cards. That MAY be why it is slow for some users but not others.
I've been using SQ1 to get a lot of pictures on a 128mb and have decided I want better quality so am going to upgrade even tho it means shipping my camera to Olympus to upgrade the firmware. They do it at no cost if you've bought a large memory card. It might be wise to check their web site.

Love it! I have never had to buy another card and it has always had enough room for all the pictures i take at one time. Such as over 500 pictures taken when i took the grandsons to Disney. Well worth the price and good guality pictures.
