I am using this review as a bluetooth mic for my kenwood DDX812 in dash dvd player. It works great people say they can't even tell I am on a bluetooth mic in a car. 3.5mm plug fits the deck perfect and it plugged in an off I went. I bought this for recording on my Olympus digital recorder. It also works great for recording on my computer. I've only done recording where the audio source is close to the mic; I have not tried it in a larger setting. There was some confusion in the product listing as to whether or not an adapter is needed. (It is not needed). If you order this, be aware that it is a mono recorder--not stereo. After an unfortunate tea accident my laptop microphone stopped working. I ordered this as the replacement. It works great! Excellent sound quality and I like that it's small. It can be plugged directly into the laptop or plugged into the included cord that clips on. Great product!
