I don't think I have ever been more disappointed with any product. I bought these for a recent trip, and found them to be almost unusable. Granted, I am not a very experienced user of binoculars. However, I'm not sure you should have to be experienced. Should be pretty simple right? Look through them, maybe focus as needed, and stuff that is far away looks bigger right? Not with these. So many adjustments, with no adequate explanation of what the adjustements are for, or how to make them. Something about having to adjust the left eye before focusing both together. Instructions were a joke. Even when I was able to get them properly focused, I found them to be so uncomfortable, that I could barely see through them. HORRIBLE!!! I order this item because of it review in Comsumers Report. I received two of this item instead of one. I returned one within a couple of days. The other one was effective except in one very important area. The eye peices were so small they did not cover my eyes and made it difficult of focus and uncomfortable on the eyes. After using this item at several events, I have returned the binoculars to you. That I did a couple of days ago and you should have them by Feb. 25th. Although these binoculars are very good, I could not adjust the focus using the written instructions. It boils down to a matter of trial and error.

The Outback is a good little binocular. In fact, it is quite small, the picture on amazon is a little misleading, its almost pocket-able. Just the right size for a concert or similar venture. Optics are good, the build quality seems good, so I'm pleased with the purchase at this price point.Digital camera Review: Great Compact Binoculars

I bought these binoculars based on the previous reviews and I'm glad I did. I will be using them primarily to hunt elk and deer in northern New Mexico. I wear glasses and these are very easy to use with my glasses and the size is great especially when out on the trail.
