Digital camera Review: Did not like this case
Summary: 1 Stars
Did not like using this base, I took the camera to the beach a lot and surfing. Sand and dirt easily gets traped in it. It doesn't dry out fast and you have to remove it to get the battery out and the memory card. Therefore I hardly use this case. I would not recommend others to get it. The one this it does prevent is scratches to the body of the camera. Its a tough camera and can handle abuse without this case.Digital camera Review: Does the job well, but non-camera functions are a challenge.

Why do you want a protective skin on a camera that is built like a mac truck?
The Good:
We got this to help prevent scratching, and it does a good job of that. All camera functions are available with the skin on and easy to use.
The Bad:
Unfortunately whenever you want to charge the camera, or transfer pictures or change the card you pretty much need to remove the entire skin just to do it. Unfortunately for us that is an almost daily exercise. It is cumbersome enough that we have considered not using it on more than one occasion.

I bought this with the purshase of my camera. Used it in the beginning, but stopped using it. It's fine, but I'll probably only throw it on there when I'm on the water to help keep the card and battery door from opening up and letting water in. My friend bought his and it ripped as he stretched his on first time. Mine is still entact, but it makes a bulky camera, that much bulkier, and its probably not needed unless you are in the water a lot with your camera. My personal opinion is that I want my point-and-shoot camera to be small and fit quietly in the back pocket.Digital camera Review: ESSENTIAL for surfing with the Olympus camera

If you surf with the Olympus, you MUST get this skin to protect your investment.
I surfed with the first Olympus 1030sw and kept it my my trunks pocket. The USB door came open and it flooded late in the first week of use on a surf trip to Nicaragua. Say goodbye to $350 for the camera.
I bought another Olympus 1030sw, same model to replace it, and the skin keeps the USB and battery/card doors from coming open. Best eleven bucks you can spend, saves you from buying a new camera!!!

This is a great product. It has a tacky feel which makes the camera easy to grip even with wet hands. If you lay the camera down, the case is just thick enough to hold it off the surface. It protects the the finish of the camera during normal use. It is easy to peel it back to get at the battery and card.
