I am a bit disappointed with this skin. The markings on the 1030 are all very light (except on the dial) and the skin obscures them completely, so be sure you are totally comfortable with all the camera's functions without needing to see the markings. As others have mentioned, the skin has to be removed to access the battery, memory card and USB port. I use a Gorillapod tripod, which has a quick-release base that stays screwed on to the camera. In order to access my memory card, I have to remove the Gorillapod base, remove the skin, and then get my memory card. I've also found that when I'm using the camera in natural water (lake, ocean, stream) that sand and crud can sometimes gather between the skin and the camera.
I ultimately decided to use the Olympus neoprene case and a screen protector for the 1030 I use every day, and I'll throw the skin on my back-up 1030 because I don't access the memory card on that one on a daily basis. It does a great job of protecting the camera from dings and scratches, but is just a bit too inconvenient to use every day.
