It does the job. I used it with a new, fairly light, camera and it keeps it from sinking. The main reason I wanted to write a review is to say that the big, bulky, orange part can be detached from the part that attaches directly to the camera, and the part that attaches directly to the camera can be looped into the existing camera strap or hole. In other words, if you aren't going underwater and don't need the orange flotation piece, you can easily detach the orange part and have just a regular strap. I used this strap on a DicaPac when I went snorkeling. I am petite so I did have issues with it floating up my arm when I let go of the camera. It did exactly what it was suppose to do. It quickly dried out after use and I foresee using this strap on many more adventures. It is not overly bulky and it did just fine floating with my Fujifilm FinePix E550. Not much to say about this product. It's basically a life preserver for your water proof camera. Just in case you accidently drop your water proof camera in the pool or any body of water. This will help it keep afloat.Digital camera Review: Excellent Float Strap!

This is an excellent float strap. A must have for small cameras near deep water. I used this with my Kodak Playsport to shoot video while water skiing! Very fun!
