Digital camera Review: ** Does not work with flat panel TV's! **

I believe the description for this item is very old. The description for this item claims that it will fit almost any TV. Perhaps 10 years ago this was the case, but now it will only work with CRT or Rear Projection TVs. This item will not work with ANY flat panel TV. The legs are vertical only and are not adjustable (other than length from about 4 - 16 inches). They are intended to rest on the angled back of a TV. So, in order for this item to work with a flat panel, the legs would have to be ridiculously long (the height of the TV, if resting on a stand, or the height from the floor to the top of the TV). Also, the instructions aren't great. They refer often to tightening/loosening an adjustment screw with an allen wrench (allen wrench provided), but there are no allen head pieces in this set at all. The only adjustment screws are phillips head. It's not very intuitive and the design seems flimsy. I wouldn't trust my center channel on this mount. Luckily, I don't have to, because as previously mentioned, this item is not compatible flat panel TVs.
