I bought two of these to hold my cable box and dvd player. I took the advice of others who have purchased these and flipped them over and mounted the legs on the other side for a much cleaner looking mount.
They work great on my 73" inch dlp tv. I would highly recommend this if your looking for a sturdy shelf.

I bought this shelf because I have a 51" projection TV that sits in an alcove and there isn't room on either side of the TV for an A/V stand.
I needed to put a cable box and PS3 on it.
Very well worth the money. This shelf is very strong and is easy to assemble and mount. As others have said, make sure you understand what type of TV's this mount is for and then go for it...it's an excellent buy. Very sturdy, well built, easy instructions.
I personally didn't go for the upside-down custom mount as others have said, but that's because my top lip of my TV is beveled so the upside-down mount doesn't sit right. But the edge of my TV is black so this shelf's pegs almost blend in completely with the TV edge.
Wish I'd have bought this years ago.

This shelf is very strong and of nicely finished steel construction. It is the least obtrusive of the units I compared it to. The mounting system is very flexible in adapting to various configurations of TVs. Overall it is exactly what I needed. I have a full size home theater receiver and a small center channel on it above my 50" Samsung DLP TV. Fingers crossed...it has not fallen yet as some others have had happen but I am well within it's limits.
I also flipped it over so only the lip is over the edge of my TV. Looks alot better than those cheesy pegs.
Got a great deal on it and there did not seem to be many other alternatives out there for the lack of depth to my TV.
