I recently purchased this unit for my son's birthday. He is staying with us while he recovers from a motorcycle accident. He wanted an i-pod dock, so I got him this and glad I did. I have a decent stereo system and enjoy quality sound reproduction. This little unit does it all, CD playback, i-pod doc, Etc. as well as quality sound. The volume my not knock your socks off, but for casual listening it's great. Loud enough to fill any room.Digital camera Review: Great product, its value for money!

Its a great system. The bass is excellent. The surround sound is effective. The Remote for the Ipod is great! A big thing for lazy people.
Compared to the Bose, it's sound may be 5-10% less effective but not worth the price difference! The advantage over the Bose is the inbuilt Ipod doc and remote.
So if you get this product at $250 or less, its certainly worth it!

Nice packaging and compact. Easy to use. ... Only minor compliant is that I would have liked an extra 30-50 watts . Sounds fine, but still falls just a bit short of the Bose compact Wave system outstanding sound quality.Digital camera Review: It's AMAZING...!!!

This item is completely what it says it is. I love the fact that it has a radio too. I can never find something I can play my iPod with and listen to radio with also. And the sound is just amazing!!! It's SO loud!!! It's also very nice to look at; the design is also very beautiful.
I totally recommend this product. You will not regret it!!!

I bought this system as a Christmas present for my 13 year old son. He and I are both musicians and really enjoy the CBX-300. The sound is best described as rich and full while listening at low to moderate volume. I'm considering buying a second one for my office.
