Digital camera reviews of Ooma Core VoIP Phone System

Digital camera Review: Awesome
Summary: 5 Stars

Simply Amazing. That is all I can say about OOMA. Easy to set up and even easier to use. I am in the middle of porting my number over so using a temp number. Quality is great and no problems what so ever. Looking at call logs online is really cool.

Ditch you phone company and get OOMA now. You won't regret it.

This is really a terrific product. I was skeptical but convinced to give it a try due to the consistently favorable reviews. I'm not very patient with assembly and connection, but the reviews proved to be reality portraying the set up as very easy. In addition, the clarity was beyond expectation. I took this unit to Mexico and was astounded at how easy it was to connect and how well it worked. I've just ordered a second unit for home in the US. I can't wait to use it more.

The OOMA hub is a great sounding, dependable telephony device that's easy to set up. I've no trouble with this, and I'm usually on the phone 4 or 5 hours per day. I've not tried the hub; I've just got the basic service with my wired speakerphone plugged into the box. I've recommended it to many friends now.

Digital camera Review: Awesome Product, A must have

I bought the core system,

ooma Core VoIP Phone System with No Monthly Phone Service Bills

I will say it was easy to setup. The price is not bad either. I was with vonage for 4 years and have really no complaints with them but the voice is better on ooma. I did not think it could get any better but it is. I would reccomend this to anyone. And yes i did read the terms like some people said. They put the clause in there for 3000 minutes a month two keep business and telemarkerters from abusing the system. The are not know to charge anyone who is a normal home phone user.

Digital camera Review: Awesome System
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an amazing VoIP system. I am praying it will never go out of business. I think I should work on their sales team because I've been selling and bragging to my friends, co-workers and relatives about this unit.

Set up took 15 minutes tops if even that. I still maintain a land line because our home security system is VoIP compatible and I have an older Tivo model and lastly I'm using DSL. In order to use all the freebies especially caller ID, I had to use one of Ooma's assigned numbers. I chose not to integrate the system with my existing land line because I didn't want to pay for caller ID. To be honest, I just sent an email out to everyone telling them I've changed my number, not that hard.

My current DSL subscription is suppose to get up to 6.0 Mbps down and 768 kbps up, I get about 5 down and 650 up before Ooma and still am the same speeds after Ooma. I stream movies to my TV through Roku with no slow down. I might switch to cable after my contract's up, still thinking about it.

Ooma sits behind my integrated DSL/Router. Sound quality is awesome on our end and sometimes a bit staticy on the other end, but not much. Sometimes the person on the other end might say it sounds echoey but in all honesty who really cares. To be honest it sounds like someone on a cell phone. I'm saving money that's the main point. If you're an audiophile who likes to pay unnecessary monthly charges so you can have the best sound quality, then this isn't for you. If you want to save money and have tons of features and with respectable to very good sound quality then join the club of many satisfied Ooma customers.

I'll keep referring this to anyone who is interested in learning more. GREAT product
