I am really shocked that this "voip bundle" is being sold for $200+.
VOIP enabled routers are not very expensive - I bought a reconditioned one from eBay for less than $50. I can plug any old phone into it, and hey presto - voip connection. VOIP accounts with cheap calls and a certain number of free minutes are a dime a dozen. You are paying through the nose for the convenience of one box and even that has problems.
What a total rip off.

I am not a person to write many reviews for what I buy, but I felt obligated to do so with OOMA, I am so impressed with the level of high quality this service has provided to me, I have been a Verizon customer for many, many years and always hated how they charged me all these fees that did not make sense to me, with OOMA I had the pleasure of porting my number over from Verizon and it was sooooooo good to get rid of the old phone company. If you are still not sure if this will work don't worry, rest assured that it does all that OOMA claims that it will do. The quality is just as good as it was with Verizon's landline. OOMA is the Chibamboo Foshiso! lol.... Unlimeted calling, real!.... and for those that say there's a 3000 minutes limit per month.... well that's for OOMA to see if your using it for business and not residential (abusing the system)... They will put you that limit on you if they see your using it for business purposes.... but if your using it for regular calls (Residential), it does mean 'Unlimited'... and you can go over 3000 minutes per month with no problem... so talk all you want! I hope I made that CLEAR!
For customer service, make sure you call during business hours...

Great concept and product works well. However, absolutely "No" customer support from ooma. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are put on hold and after 20 minutes you're asked to leave voice mail or the system hangs up.
Basic information is not on ooma's website and I can't get through or get a response to port my number.
Stay away from this outfit!
