Digital camera reviews of Ooma Core VoIP Phone System

Digital camera Review: Another satisfied Ooma customer
Summary: 5 Stars

I could not be happier with the product. I am on the phone many hours a day and after using the product for about 6 months, I have found call quality to be excellent and features on par or superior to other mainstream offerings.

Digital camera Review: Are we saving money???
Summary: 2 Stars

Checking out international rates between AT&T and OOMA, I don't see much of a difference. In fact the international rates on the OOMA website are artificially low by over 15% from the actual rate.

Are we really saving money after paying $200 for the device? True, US calls are free. So if you only call domestically ok. But internationally it is a whole different story.

If most of your calls are international watch out!!

Digital camera Review: As Advertised...
Summary: 5 Stars

I have DSL and I was up and running in 30 minutes and actually works as advertised...WOW. I am happy that it does because now I have one less bill to pay. Also, my upload speed is 215kb and there was no degradation while on the phone and remotely dialed into another PC. Ooma keep up the good work.

Digital camera Review: Avoid like the plague
Summary: 1 Stars

Got the system and took me a weekend or two to optimize the sound quality since out of the box it was spotty. I did the whole behind the router setup and got the quality to work reasonably well.

Problems started immediately with spotty phone quality, cut calls and incompatibility with Bay Alarm home system. I'm in the midst of moving my number back to AT&T, and ohhh boy, is it a convoluted process.

Submitting a case to the better business bureau since Ooma keeps giving me the run around.

Suggest you stay away from this company and find another provider.

Digital camera Review: Awesome
Summary: 5 Stars

OOMA is the best thing going. Have had it for 3 month now, its works better than my old ATT landline phone service. No one seems to point out that with OOMA all my old phones still work just like they did before. No special dialing, no sitting at the computer, no wife wanting her old phones back. We never got rid of them, just buy a 2nd, 3rd scout for as many phone systems you want. I even run my Dish Network thru a scout and it works perfect. Was extremely skeptical but for the money just could not pass up trying it. I ported over my 2 old phone numbers without any problems. I now have 2 lines with $ 8 month ($99 year)price period. No monthly charges. That saves me appr $50 month ($600 year). If OOMA stays around I will save ALOT of money. Phone quality is superb. When my internet went down I could still receive messages thru OOMA website and even had them text me when I got messages. I can even call and speak to a real person MUCH faster than the horrible time trying to reach a live person at the old phone company. Now that they are being sold in Best Buys it seem just a matter of time that it will be the only way to have real landline service without the old landline prices.
