Digital camera Review: Acceptable

The tripod is very lightweight and works as advertised. It comes with the detachable head that more expensive kits ask you to purchase separately. It does reach the advertised 70" height. Which is excellent for my very tall wife, but not so great very stability. We were at a crowded photo shoot and had to catch the tripod a couple of times as other folks easily knocked it over.
The legs extend easily and lock with one hand.
Positioning the head takes some getting used to and you have to work in two planes so panning and scanning are more difficult. It's better for panoramic shots than action shots. If you only pan in plane (football, soccer) it works fairly well. But the plastic head components aren't as smooth as a metal ball and socket.
It will do until I can find a professional tripod kit.
The only real failure was the tongue of the zipper on the carry bag breaking the first trip out. It still zips so...

...and I guess that is about the best thing you can say about a seller's item. It has been steady and true, ease of use is great, and I've been more than happy with its performance. It isn't an expensive tripod, but for myself, a budding amateur photographer, it has been a great help.
The levels are easy to use, it is easy to set up and light weight to carry. I love nature photography and sometimes when photographing animals ease and quickness of the setup is critical to getting that great shot. This tripod does that. Another reviewer described it as being heavy, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. The whole thing weighs only a few pounds, yet is very sturdy, and that was a deciding factor for me in buying it.
Also, the height of it suited me well. I am fairly tall, 6'1", and this tripod was easy for me to use without having to bend over. The quick release is fantastically useful for when I want to switch between my spotting scope and my camera.
Overall, I will say that this is actually one heck of a deal for an inexpensive tripod, and I recommend it.

A Great tripod for such a low price.
I am not an expert but it serves its function.
The only negative aspect is that there is a tendency for the camera to drop down when i am not holding it. I dont know if this is user error or a problem with the tripod but overall I am happy with it.

This is the coolest tripod! The features on it are outstanding! Well worth the $30, I highly recommend it. I am new to photography and I love it. I've also let my friend use it who has been a photographer for many years and even he was impressed with it's overall design & features. Great for beginners and experts alike!
