I am very excited about this product. Does anyone know if it works for Canon EOS 5D? Not EOS 5D Mark II. Thanks a lot!
Digital camera Review: Does not work Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased this, and got it within 10 days, but it does not work on my Cannon Rebel XS. Either the battery is dead, or does not work at all. I will go out and purchase a battery, but It should have come with one that works. I have read the other reviews, and made sure I have my settings on correctly, but it is not working.
Digital camera Review: Does not work with Canon T2i Summary: 1 Stars
As advertised, they say this works on a Canon T2i. IT DOES NOT!!!! I am not the only one to have written this comment. Please read all comments before ordering. This is a prime example of rolling the dice with an "Off Brand". Didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back. Amazon would have UPS pick it up to return to the vendor, but I have to be home to do that. So, I am the proud new owner of a new Paper Weight!
Digital camera Review: Does not work with T1i Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this remote thinking it was a cheap way to get more out of my T1i, however it doesn't even work with my camera. I did everything I was supposed to do (set my camera to remote shooting mode, aim the remote at the infrared sensor, etc) and it fired twice, then stopped. Fortunately I discovered that a Canon RC-1 remote I had for an old EOS ElanIIe works for my T1i. I'm definitely returning the Opteka RC-4.
Digital camera Review: Does not work with T2i Summary: 1 Stars
I followed the simple instructions to enable the remote for the camera and tried all positions/distances but cannot trigger the camera from the remote.
1. Turn on the camera.
2. Press the "Drive mode" menu button. This is the same button as the left arrow on my camera.
3. Toggle between different setting using left and right arrow.
4. Make sure that the "Self-timer/Remote control" option is highlighted.
5. Press set button.
Looks like Canon T2I doesn't work with this remote. I am returning mine.
