Digital camera reviews of Oregon Scientific BPW128 Jumbo Wrist Blood Pressure MeterDigital camera Review: Not Perfect But Very Good Summary: 4 StarsPositioning is critical. I get best results by positioning it directly over my heart - described in instructions as optional. Even then it under reports systolic blood pressure by a few points. But this is a neat little device. It performs all the functions described and it is very easy to use.
If you must have absolute accuracy, then use an arm cuff, mercury column, and stethoscope - and lay down while someone else performs the procedure.
Digital camera Review: Nice Machine Summary: 5 StarsI bought this for my parents.
They are pretty happy with the product.
Digital camera Review: Wrist Blood Presssure Machine Oregon Scientific Monitor Summary: 1 StarsI loved the large digital print but was unhappy it was not calibrated correctly. I had to send it to Oregon Scientific for a replacement or repair.
Digital camera Review: Nice product Summary: 4 StarsI am a home health nurse. I purchased this product on QVC also a few years ago. I use it several times a day on different patients. I have only had trouble with the cuff opening on very obese patients. Until just recently everything about it has worked fine. Now it seems to be losing it's sensivity in finding the pulse to start inflating and to read the blood pressure. But bear in mind that I use this several times a day, and it is in and out of cold trunk of car and warm homes. Perhaps the other person who left a negative review should have contacted the company or QVC and replaced it.
Digital camera Review: Junk Summary: 1 StarsIf I could give this zero stars I would. Save your money. Bought this from QVC. It broke within a month. Wrist band popped open every time I tried to take my reading. I have small wrists 6 1/2 inches and it wouldn't stay closed. Took very poor reading when you were able to get one. Not accurate. Piece of junk. Go with an omron.
