I had already bought a $24 optical cable from Radioshack and as soon as I read all these reviews I ordered this one. As soon as it came I swapped out the cable with no noticeable difference except the $20 credit to my AMEX for returning that expensive sucka back to Radioshack. It hooked up with no problem using the 3.5mm adapter.
Don't waste your money on those $20+ cables.

Have had no issues with this cable. Saved me a great deal of money buying this vs. Monster. Try to avoid the hype over the "superior cables", bits are bits a 1 is a 1 and a 0 is a 0 there is no gray area here. The more expensive cables may have better ends and plastic surrounding the fiber optics, but they cannot improve the signal at all.Digital camera Review: 14 days from the order date and delivery!

14 Days from the order date and no delivery yet! Very disappointed. 65% of my shipment cost was for shipping charges. Yet, it takes them 14 days (and counting) for delivery.....Cables are priced cheap, however, shipping charges seem to be absurd when the delay is taken into account. Hopefully, the merchandise will be worth the wait.... Bottom line, be ready for a wait of more than 2 weeks to get your shipment from this seller.
