Digital camera Review: 40 Miles from DC - all meters 100% !!!

I replaced the UHF-only Square shooter with this antenna, along with the pre-amp. We are 40 mi as the crow flies west of our primary market. Once up, all channels, even a small college channel came in !
I purchased the pre-amp presuming that the range of the un-amped version would need help. If you do decide to purchase the pre-amp, I'd recommend purchasing them together, as the pre-amp circuit board goes INSIDE the antenna. You'd not want to have to take the antenna down take it apart, and have to put it back together again. Assembly was straighforward if you're somewhat mechanically inclined.
I do not have HDMI cable yet, so I could only verify that the 1080i worked (with component cables), but the reception was great.
