I bought this for my 17" Gateway P-7805u FX Edition and it fits perfect. The bulky battery makes it a tight fit but it fits!!! I've been using this backpack for a couple of months now and I've got ZERO complaints. It has more storage than I use, it seems to be very well built. I think this will last me a very long time and I highly recommend it..
I love that the backpack will stand up on its own. The zippers seem to be very durable and it's got a lot of padding on the shoulder straps.

I bought one backpack from swissgear about 2 years ago and I loved the comfort/quality/space and durability. Even today it looks as same comfort and holds more space. My recent purchase is for second backpack and I highly recommend this to any one. I prefer these over Jan Sport and North Face as swissgear is cheaper to these with same quality and customer service is great for other issues.Digital camera Review: Best Backpack ever

This is by far the best backpack I have ever had. I have been using it for about 4 years now and it is still holding up strong. It is defiantly built tough and is great if you are an organized person. There are 2 side pouches that can hold drinks or food. the main pouch has an area to place a laptop and a bigger area for books or binders. The secondary pouch is very large and has 2 dividers, both big enough to hold a large book. there is a mini pouch on the back/top that is good for holding an i pod and accessories. the back pouch is good for holding pens and pencils.
