I purchased the item cheap dirt with very low expectation about the product. It proved that you get for what you paid for! I thought I could you it for my Apple IPod Touch. However, this "compact speakers" barely make any decent sound. The sound from the Ipod is far superior than this product. I consider it a throw-away item. Not even worth for 5 bucks. I really appreciate other people taking time to review items - Thank you so much! It helped me to set expectations for my purchase. That being said, this is exactly as promised, in fact I was impressed that I could get the volume louder than I thought I would be able to.
There are nothing in the way of directions, and so you've just got to figure it out - not too hard! And they are cheaply made, which is not unexpected given the price - so don't expect them to be hearty - but if you are going to keep them say in one place and not travel with them, I think they are perfect.

We just took a vacation, and the speakers were great to take along to the beach and the pool, however, the Ipod does not fit in the area like it shows on the picture. When you plug into the headphone jack, the Ipod won't sit in the opening for it.Digital camera Review: Excellent for the money!

What a great little product! You cannot go wrong. The price is incredible and it works great. It is very compact when folded up which makes it easy to transport. The sound is decent. I agree with others who have said that it works best if you turn the volume up all the way on your ipod first and then mess with the volume on the speakers. I bought 3 and would buy more as gifts. Great item.
