These speakers are amazing. The price was amazing. The sound quality is so awesome that I can set the speakers up to play while im in the shower and I still can pretty much hear the music. True, the volume of the plugged in product pretty much dictates how loud you listen to it but the speakers give great quality and for such a great price, i will probably buy more whenever these break. Only slight downfall is the batteries not being included nor being rechargeable so that might balance out the cost w/ more expensive speakers, but these speakers are great quality for very low cost. I wanted something that was truly portable to take on the road. I also didn't want to spend a lot. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I do know what sounds good. This set provides a broad sound (not too tinny like I was half way expecting) that works great in a hotel room or at home in the kitchen. There is an inexpensive AC adaptor which is retrospect had I known at the time of ordering I probably would have gotten. However, I'm still on my first set of batteries after a month, so maybe I didn't really need it after all.
- In short, I'm very pleased. I didn't give it 5 stars simply because the sound won't knock you over, but, hey, for the price and size this is a very good buy.

I got these and they worked really well for about 3 months, then all of the sudden they stopped working. I don't play my music that often, nor nearly loud enough to break the speakers. They were worth the couple of cents I bought them for.
