This is much faster than my old LifeDrive. The screen resolution and size are superb.
The HotSync cable and power cord are separate, so you can leave the USB cable behind when traveling. (Any updates I'd do online anyway.)
Definately worth the price.

I had a Palm Zire that was starting to act up, so I got a T/X. It is much better and I like to be able to use MS Word and Excel. The case that comes with it is just fine. Some small problems getting good with Vista, but it all worked out. Getting on the internet was good, too. Palm will not support its product if you try to install it or synchronize it with MS Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE). I was unable to make it work, despite the varied fixes I found on the Internet. The Palm technician was NOT helpful, except for the fact that midway in our conversation he said that Palm did not support MCE installations. Palm claims compatibility with Windows XP, but it will not support XP with MCE. Thank goodness that Amazon is willing to let me return my Palm TX, so I'm not out any money. But thanks to Palm's refusal to mention MCS incompatibility, I am out 100+ hours trying to make this work, along with the hassle to both Amazon and me for having to deal with a return. Beware! When I purchased my Palm TX, I read a few negitive reviews but paid little attention because of former good experience with the Ziar. Near the end of my 90 day warranty, the light went out. After several days working with customer support, the device was fixed. However, when it came back, the button for the calendar brought up the address book and vis versa. It worked fine for another several months. However, I have not had it a year yet and once agian the light went out. Now it is no longer covered and I am out the cost of the device and the hard case that isn't any good with out the device. I would not buy another Palm. If you do, you really should consider paying the extra money for the extended warranty. But if you are going to invest that much, you might as well buy a Blackberry or something else that is more reliabile.Digital camera Review: Case is just OK, but could be better

If you're getting this case with the Palm TX, then you'll find it to be just okay.
Pros:
- definitely protects your TX from hard impacts. Mine was in the case when it fell into the basement floor and the case fully protected my TX. The case had two dings on it, but my TX was safe inside.
- the top lid folds all way back and provides a unique way of holding the PDA. It's not uncomfortable.
Cons:
- there are no cut outs for quick access to the hotsync port, SD card slot, headphone slot, power switch, or stylus
- the plastic latch that holds the case closed will wear out after a while
If you'e looking for a better, more solid case, I'd opt for the Saunders 00497 RhinoSkin Aluminum Hardcase for Palm Tungsten TX/T5. I used this for my T3 and the latch never wore out and it protected my T3 from countless falls.
