Having owned three other Palm PDAs in the past, I was excited at the prospect of the speed, capacity and display of this machine. Only one problem...it continually lost its digitizer register and I would have to do a full reset to realign the machine...a warm reset wouldn't do it. As usual, Palm technical support was hard to reach and useless when I did reach them, and the online help was only useful if you asked them about things they'd dealt with. After going through the reset/reload routine five times in three weeks, I gave up and sent the thing back.Digital camera Review: Hard to use, first one I received was defective!

I purchased my Palm TX a week ago. It arrived here with lightning speed, so kudos to Amazon. The problem is, it was defective!! Every time I searched for our wifi at home, the screen went blank and the Palm froze up completely. I had to soft reset to get it functioning again. I chatted online with Palm's tech support, and they wanted me to purchase additional software, which they *hoped* would solve the issue. When I refused to pay for software that may or may not work for my brand new product, I got switched to phone support. It only took them 2 minutes to realize that my Palm was defective. I'm returning my Palm with the crazy optimism that the next one will work. If not, I'm exchanging it for a Nokia n810!Digital camera Review: Havent gotten a real chance to use it

I was planning on going to nursing school right away.. but pushed it back to a couple years from now... therefore i havent really been able to use the Palm.. But im going to hold onto it bc i really like the style, its really easy to use, i love how i can download a ton of programs onto it! Ordered this item; it arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. It has the appearance of being a good, solid device - especially based on the older device my daughter had. HOWEVER - between the time I ordered it and the time I received it, decided to go "Blackberry" and in that way, I would have my info and telephone in one device. So, I chose to return the Palm. That suits MY purposes better but if I wanted to carry two devices (Phone and Palm) this one would certainly be at the top of my list.Digital camera Review: I'm a nursing student and I love this palm it has helped me tons.
