Palm Z22 Handheld This is a great product! How did I live so long without it!!??!! Just as promised, easy to use for a first timer. I recommend this to everyone!
Digital camera Review: Absolutely Amazing Summary: 5 Stars
I've written 2 reviews in my life and this is one of them.
I own a business and I have tried all sorts of dayplanners, phones, etc. So after reading the reviews I bought the Z22.
This has to be the easiest to learn and use piece of equipment I have ever bought. I have yet to read the instructions and plan out every day perfectly.
The "Grafitti 2" handwriting recognition software works flawlessly.
The Palm is so intuitive. I really can't say enough about how easy to use it is.
If you want an organizer and not a phone/address/mp3/blah blah blah. Then buy this. It's light and syncs with my computer.
Digital camera Review: Adequate PDA. Summary: 5 Stars
If your looking for a relatively cheap, basic peice of machinery to keep your daily schedule, the Palm Z22 is the way to go. It comes with spiffy little features like a CarbCounter, and a Daily Fact of the Day.
It easily sycs to your computer allowing for quick schedule and contact coordination.
Digital camera Review: Adequate, basic functionality for the price Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this to replace my Palm Tungsten IIe which died without warning after only a little over a year of use. I didn not want to spend a lot of money on a Tungsten repair or on a new one. This unit is much slower than the Tungsten and has fewer features but it seems to work fine and meets my basic contact and calendar management needs.
Digital camera Review: Ahhhh, the last of the Palm devices I can use in my workplace? Summary: 5 Stars
I happen to work in spaces that are governed by government security constraints--which practically mean that I cannot use a PDA that has Bluetooth, WiFi, or any wireless connectivity or phone capabilities. And the infrared ports need to be covered with attractive metal tape applied with loving care by an information systems security wonk... So, my choices were limited. This replaced an M500 that was getting a bit long in the tooth.
The product arrived ahead of the predicted arrival date, and in fine shape. The transition from the one device to the other was very easy, given the instructions for unloading from one to the other. I like the color screen and the navigation capabilities. Storage space is a nice step up for me. I have only two complaints. First, the system seems a bt slow in context switching--moving from one DB to another in severl of the applications seems rather slow, and switching between apps seems slow. Second, there's a freebie app that was included with the device called AddIt. Until a few weeks ago, AddIt was a multi-functional utility that both downloaded Reuters headlines and articles and also offered software packages on a try-to-buy basis. Well, Reuters has now stopped offering the news feed to AddIt, so now it's just an annoying salesperson from within my PDA.
Overall, a great upgrade for me!
