Digital camera Review: Good PDA
Summary: 4 Stars

This Palm replaced my original one that was stolen. It works great but I am ready to uprade to the new Palm Tungsten PDA.

Digital camera Review: most flexible
Summary: 5 Stars

This has to be one of the best early model pda's out there. connectivity with other infored devices are great. so far i have been able to control my tv, satallite reciver, my hp laserjet printer all from the infored. i've had it for 2 days and its all pimped out. 3rd party software is very easy to install and there has pretty much been nothing i cant find for what i want to do. it comes with 8mbs of storage which is a lot since programs are very small. some hardware is tricky to find but amazon[.com] has been the best so far that i've found where to find the stuff i want for this palm. if you buy it you wont be dissapointed. go to freewarepalm.com for free palm pilot software its been the best so far

Digital camera Review: A Classic!
Summary: 5 Stars

As an owner of Jornada 548 and Jornada 720 Pocket PCs and a Handspring Visor Prism I've had ample time to consider which of them is my favorite - and the Palm Vx wins.

What I like - the small size, simplicity, razor sharp screen and ample memory.

Specifics - this is the smallest of the PDAs I own and it's easy to slip into a shirt pocket. However, the feature I most like is the standard Palm applications, which do a few tasks well, and the wealth of third-party applications that can be easily downloaded. Compared to the Pocket PCs I own this and the size combine to make the Vx my favorite. Although this is the only PDA I own that has a monochrome screen the Vx is easier to read in all light conditions.

Why choose a Vx? By any standard this model is obsolete, but is probably the best designed PDA on the market - especially if you want a Palm-powered PDA instead of the more complicated Pocket PC devices - because used ones are attractively priced and it makes an ideal entry-level PDA. It also may be the only PDA for many people because it is rich with functionality (appointments, calendar, phone list, etc.), and remains compatible with tens of thousands of readily available programs.

Digital camera Review: Great First Palm Pilot
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought the Palm Vx as my first Palm Pilot and it's worth every cent I paid for it. It may not have as many features as the new ones, like a color screen, expansion slot, or Bluetooth compatibility, but it's inexpensive and very reliable. It's run downloaded applications smoothly and with no trouble. It's got plenty of memory (8MB), a rechargeable battery, and is thin and light. It's even better when you add accessories like the Palm Portable Keyboard or the Travel Charger. If you're looking for a basic Palm Pilot for a surprisingly inexpensive price, this is for you.

Digital camera Review: Takes a dinking, keeps on syncing
Summary: 4 Stars

I had a mishap with my Palm V during a softball game where the Palm was pretty well destroyed. I was more than a little concerned as I had a date in a couple days and the only place I had the girl's phone number and address was on my Palm (I was lax in doing my daily hotsync).

So, with some fear, I put my badly dented palm into the hotsync cradle and pressed the big button on the front. Some whirring and clicking and it still synced. That says a lot for the construction quality of this PDA.
