I bought these to replace old uniden phones. I like speaker ph. from handset feature as well as locator button for missing phones. I like the night mode on bedroom ph. feature so every call doesn't wake me up when napping, a must! Phones are clear with no distortion,but could use a higher volume control on base message machine as well as handsets for my likeing,but to each his own. These phones do not have a memo key for leaving messages at home for family members, like my old unidens had,something to consider if you use this on your older phone. So far the phone is fine. I had an older version of a panasonic phone for years that started cuting off after about 30 minutes of talk. That and sticking keys prompted the new purchase. The new one is smaller in size, takes up less space and my callers on the other end sound much clearer. I hadn't realize that the latter was a problem as well. The range is good but then I have a small place. I like that you can change the ring tones to identify when it is someone you want to hear from and someone whom you may not want to hear from. The message playback is a bit clunky, but once you get on to it, it's not a problem. Otherwise, a good phone that is clear and can be carried anywhere in OUR house and still sound good. Buy it if you are looking for a decent, clear phone at a bargain price.Digital camera Review: Good phone system

I enjoy the paging feature as I live in a multi story home its great to contact others in the house. It also features a good speaker phone I use it when we talk to our son and other family in the UK the whole family can talk to them together. We also have a large garden and I dont have any problems with signal loss. Great product.
