replacement of old cordless phone with new technology 5.8 GHz answering system. It works well, was fairly easy to set up and start using, and lots of "bells and whistles". Still haven't got the hang of using it with hearing aid; unfortunately, no Blue Tooth so cannot use Phonax. But it's loud enough with speaker phone that I don't really have a problem. Panasonic phones are tough and long lasting. After 10 years I finally replaced my old one with this one. Great cordless digital phone that is compact enough to place anywhere. I love the features that it's an alarm clock and has different rings set up for special phone calls.
