I purchased this phone because my old phone was about to die on me. I didn't want a phone with multiple handsets because I live in a small
apartment, and I needed an answering machine. My old phone had all these features. When I went to my local stores I could not find one that I liked. Either it had to many features and not an answering machine. I was very frustrated. So when I got home I logged on to Amazon. After searching for only a short time they had what I was looking for. Also I found out my parents have the same phone. They bought it a few years ago.
They have been very happy with it and so am I.

Works well, good tone quality, answering machine works fine. Was easy to set up (I think - at least I didn't hear my husband cussing when he set it up...). Only problem is - it's very uncomfortable to hold between neck and shoulder while talking, so we're going to have to find a model that will support a headset. We are basically happy with this product. The phone is quite compact and smaller than we had envisioned it. It has good range and we get nice reception upstairs as well as outside the house on the patios. The only issue is that there is sometimes an echo in the backround and you can hear yourself speaking after a 1/2 second delay. (not sure if it is exclusively an issue with this phone but still annoying) Otherwise for the price and quality I would definetly recommend it.
