This is a great battery! It is sturdy, charges quickly, and has enough charge time to create short videos. For longer projects I would suggest buying a few more.

The CGP-D28A/1B is a 2,800 mAh DVC Lithium Ion battery for use with the PV-GS9, PV-GS13, PV-GS15, PV-DV103, PV-DV203, PV-DV953 and all 1999-2002 DVC camcorder models. It lasts up to 6hr. 55min. of operating time. (Operating time will vary by model of camcorder, usage, and temperature.)This rechargeable, lithium-ion camcorder battery is rated for an estimated nine-hour operation life between charges. It replaces Panasonic battery pack model CGR-D815A/1B, and is compatible with most Palmcorder cameras, though it's not compatible with models PV-GS50 & PV-GS70. Panasonic states that this battery is compatible with following camcorder models:
