Digital camera Review: Dont' buy Electronics from Amazon or 17 Street Photo

Used this DVD one time when we first received it. After some playing around it worked OK. So we tossed the packaging and put it in a DVD bag. The next two times we used it it would not "read" the disk. Called Panasonic and they could not resolve the problem and told us to call the seller . I did and they would not offer us a replacement because we did not have the original package. The man was very rude. He even snapper at me to switch phones and call back because he could not hear me. Who saves the packaging if you think at first your item works. I will never buy electronics via Internet again and I will make sure anyone I talk to will know this seller is rude and will not stand by the product they sell. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. At first Amazon said they would reimburse me for the defective DVD as 17 Street Photo would not. I was overjoyed. Then when I did not hear anything from Amazon and I had to contact them, Amazon said they had denied my complaint. Again, do not use 17th Street Photo or Amazon as the middle man as Amazon will not stand up to damaged merchandise either. I use buy through Amazon all the time. Not anymore!!!

I RECIEVED A PORTABLE DVD PLAYER A WHILE BACK... IT HAD A GOOD PICTURE
BUT THE BATTERY LIFE WAS APROX 40 MIN........I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED
I HEARD ABOUT THIS DVD PLAYER FROM PANASONIC. AND RECIEVED IT AS A GIFT
I TOOK THIS THING WITH ME ON MY VACATION LAST MONTH....AND I CAN TELL YOU I WATCHED TWO MOVIES, WHILE ON A LONG FLIGHT....AND STILL HAD BATTERY TIME TO SPARE.....THE PICTURE IS PRETTY GOOD......THE SPEAKERS GIVE YOU ALOT OF VOLUME IF YOU CHOOSE TO LISTEN TO IT WITHOUT HEADPHONES
I MUST SAY THAT THE SIZE, BATTERY LIFE, AND THE FLEXABILITY OF POSITIONING THE SCREEN.......IS WONDERFUL....THIS IS A MUST HAVE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A PORTABLE DVD PLAYER........NONE OF THE OTHER MAJOR PLAYERS IN THE ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY.ARE OFFERING UP TO 13 HOURS OF BATTERY LIFE
IF YOUR LUCKY ITS 4-5 HOURS.WHICH GENERLY MEANS 2-3

The player is well designed and easy to use. You can't ask much more. But the battery didn't last; what started as 4 hours of batter life was down to 2 hours after about 10 times I used it. And then I got the dreaded Error H03. Don't buy this until you have read online about this error. Basically the motor burns out after about 20-30 movies and costs about $90 to replace. We bought this for our 3 YO and he is tough on things. He has thrown this down on our driveway. Poured his juice all over it and after a little cleaning and drying out it just keeps on working. Purchased this model, as I wanted a small DVD player with excellent resolution and battery life. This unit provided enough battery life to view three full length movies on the Honolulu to Chicago flight and the video quality for such a small screen was fabulous. I recommend this model for anyone who needs a small screened portable DVD player. You might pay more for other models, however I don't think you will find a better value.
