Digital camera reviews of Panasonic Dect 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System - 4 Handset System (KX-TG9334T)Digital camera Review: Best purchase I've made Summary: 5 Stars
These phone work great. Only thing that could be improved is the way the phone talks. It isn't able to say names correctly. my husband and I get quite a kick out of the names. I do recommend these phones and would buy them again
Digital camera Review: Better than we expected Summary: 5 Stars
These phones work terrific. They were set-up in minutes by my spouse, who is not technically inclined. We have wireless systems throughout our house with laptops, speakers, printers and door bells and have had no interference from these phones. The only thing I would do differently is to buy the set that has a dailing mechanism built into the base unit. They work clearly throughout our house even the basement area.
Digital camera Review: Beware of DECT Summary: 1 Stars
I have now tried two Panasonic DECT systems (this one and their Bluetooth compatible model) and the AT&T DECT system to which Consumer Reports gives their top rating. But all three of the DECT systems I tried suffer from a crippling problem that, if you read reviews of other DECT systems on Amazon and elsewhere, happens to a significant percentage of DECT users.
That problem is: these phones drop calls. Drop them often. Drop them no matter how close or far you are to the base. Drop them more frequently and thus more frustratingly than the first cell phones used to do.
It's hard to see a common thread among those for whom DECT does not work. Some have no wireless routers, others do. Some have multiple handsets, others have just one or two. Some have large homes, others have studio apartments. Some use VOIP systems, others are plugging directly into land lines.
The DECT system has been the norm in Europe for a few years now- but the frequency used by DECT phones here in the US is slightly different. Maybe that is the source of the problem.
In any event, I would strongly recommend that if you are going to give DECT a try you only buy from a vendor that has an easy (and cost-free) return policy if it does not work out for you.
Digital camera Review: Broke in 3 days, and Terrible customer service. Summary: 1 Stars
Loved the phones, but after about 3 days one handset stopped working propperly.I called panasonic customer service and they wanted me to send it back to them , at my expense, and they will send me a refurbished handset. Panasonic, how about this, you send me a NEW replacment by mail at your expense, and then I send you mine back,at YOUR expense! Needless to say I returned the entire product to amazon, and got my money back. Terrible customer service, from the dark ages.
Digital camera Review: Buyer Beware Summary: 2 Stars
This phone does not work well. It's so frustrating. I hate that I trashed the box. It seemed fine for a few months. Then the erratic behavior began. The most frustrating is when it simply will not allow you to make a call. I press the "talk" button and the screen goes blank. The batteries are fine, but it insists of giving me the message that I am not connected to the base. Yet, I'm standing right next to it. I purchased it because we have 4 floor and no intercom. I have had other Panasonic products and was confident in the brand. This phone set is a disappointment.
