Digital camera Review: Can't Do Two Things At Once

The Bad, which is making me return the item:
When one phone is answered upstairs, by say your children; you can't check the caller id of the call while they are on the phone. Get "system busy" message. Or even while one handset is checking caller id, another handset cannot. If you're at the base listening to voice messages, a handset can't check the caller id. Why have multiple handsets then? Makes it useless for me. My prior Vtech from 4 years ago could do all this.

Worked flawlessly out of the box. Sound quality great (we used it at up to 70 feet from the base).
Nice look, lightweight and no antenna sticking out.
As with the other Panasonic cordless phones they are way above any other brand I used in the past (ATT, GE, Vtech, etc.).
Only minor (potential) issue is that handsets have only two batteries inside so call time is not as long as other Panasonic handsets (still the claimed five hours should be good enough for most).

I have had many cordless phones over the years, and no matter what the reviews of them had been, I was always disapointed with the range of all of them except my oldest 900mhz. set....You know, the 10 pound monster that had a pull-out antena and had a battery that lasted 5 min... All I can say is "It's about time we get DECT 6.0 in the US. These things have great range and like all of my Panasonic cordless phones, the sound quality is top notch. (my old Panasonic 5.8 Ghz. unit has almost no range, BUT it sounds good.) If you have a big house, or want to take the phone with you into the yard, these units won't let you down. I have gone around the block with one and only lost signal at the 2 far corners of the block....NICE.
